Use this gold wick dipper to extinguish your candles virtually smoke-free and preserve their fragrance. This method is preferred over a candle snuffer which emits a cloud of smoke when extinguishing a candle. To use the wick dipper, push the burning wick into the wax with the end of the dipper and then use the hook to lift it back out of the wax. This coats the wick in wax which primes it for the next lighting and prevents it from fraying or becoming brittle.
